Learn Dutch: Language Course Recenzje App

This app is great for learning basic Dutch. The pronunciation and speed of the speakers gives you a good idea of the words and how to say them. There some programs that have speakers who go too fast and when you hit the slow down button it is way to slow. I have found some odd times on the Mondly site where the speaker’s words do not match the written words. This has happened several times. My son-in-law is a native Dutch speaker. I wanted to make sure I wasn’t hallucinating. I do wish there was a little more information on how to use the app but it is intuitive and user friendly. I appreciate that you can do short lessons so you can spend as much or as little time learning. Sometimes it’s nice to just do a quick one if you have just a few minutes.

I am really enjoying this app! Even though I am just beginning my tourney into learning Dutch, I feel this app will help me.

I have been enjoying learning Dutch through this website. I can go at my own speed and redo lessons to enforce the material.

I love it. I am really learning Dutch! Only one problem. It won’t let me make an account or log in. Very disappointing.

I am breezing through the lessons and learning rather quickly - and enjoying myself doing so as well! If duolingo didn’t work for you, this just might! It even has a chat bot you can talk to (verbally) in your language of interest!

Good repetitive exercises that help you learn syntax and vocabulary in a fun way. Totally recommend.

Could be worth 5 starts if they had more options for the free sections

The ability to review vocabulary and phrases is very handy. Wonderful interface.

A few problems, ie; American vs British english, they are different! Lorry vs truck, pram vs baby carriage, colour vs color, grey vs gray. Belgian dutch is different than Nederlanse dutch A few inaccurate translations - ie; the program requires you to answer “please” but “alstublief” is not in the sentence to be translated or “right now” when the sentence to be translated only says “nu”. But, all in all it is great. I can now understand some of the conversation when my Belgian husband talks to his family and even speak or write some ideas. The lessons are short and usually easy to follow. By repetition, listening and writing one becomes more fluent over time.

Love this app for learning Dutch. It helps you learn vocabulary in the context of sentences. When new verbs are introduced you can click on them and it shows the conjugation of that verb, you can also view the past tense conjugation and the future tense. This app also has speaking exercises every so often so you can check your pronunciation. So far GREAT app. I just downloaded it last night and am speaking phrases!

Pay for everything. Free version is absolutely useless. About 2 minutes a day for free and in 20 years you’ll start speaking. Brilliant.

I really learn from having to use all Types of learning skills... the mic, spelling and pictures really help out a lot! Definitely worth the money!!!

Very easy to learn

Great for learning conversation... This program guides you through the learning process and keeps it somewhat interesting... It's throws some surprises my way, but I enjoy trying to figure things out sometimes

I've been wanting to learn dutch for a few months now and I'm finally getting around to it. I started with duolingo, which is obviously very popular. I liked it and still use it, my only problem being the lack of speaking. I then moved to memrise for a week and found it ok, but its lack of complex sentences annoyed me. This app is very good for speaking, but not very good at teaching new words. In the first chapter, you are given almost 80 words, with only a few short lessons to cover them all. Had I not already known most of the words from prior experience, I would've found it extremely difficult. The lessons need to be much longer, and also don't tell me the translation of a sentence when I'm supposed to be translating it myself (what Im referring to is when a sentence is given in English, I am told to translate it to dutch, but the audio of the dutch version is played in the background, making it impossibly easy to spell it out). You should also include more writing activities, because I am finding that I can translate the words easily, but cannot spell them. My final issue is sometimes it throws a word in a sentence that I haven't learned, and requires me to translate it. I can usually only figure these out by piecing together the words given into a formidable sentence. Overall, still a good language tool, it just needs improvements!

This app so is so different from any other language learning app! It is truly working and is definitely not a waste of time!

Super good learning app, love it!

Could be an awesome app if they would allow Facebook permissions to activate. Even with the permission set to allow, the app still won't accept it. So you can't save. iPhone 5
